Clinical Supervision
I am pleased to offer clinical supervision from a psychoanalytic perspective. With a deep understanding of the psychoanalytic approach to therapy and its principles as it applies to both individual and group therapy, I provide a unique and enriching supervisory experience. Drawing from the work of renowned theorists such as Freud, Winnicot, Klein, Foulkes, and Ormont, I bring a comprehensive understanding of unconscious processes, transference, and countertransference dynamics to the supervisory relationship. By fostering a safe and supportive environment, I encourage supervisees to explore their clinical work through a psychoanalytic lens, deepening their understanding of the therapeutic process and enhancing their ability to connect with and help their clients. Through our collaborative journey, I aim to guide and challenge supervisees in their clinical practice, promoting self-reflection and growth while embracing the rich complexities of the psychoanalytic framework.
With over a decade of experience in various settings, including community mental health centers, private practice, and University teaching positions, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the supervision process. My focus is on creating a collaborative and supportive environment, where supervisees can reflect on their clinical work, explore challenges, and develop new skills.
